Hello! My name is Christine McCorkle and I am the Preschool and Infant Center Director at Valley Presbyterian School. I have been associated with Valley Presbyterian School for many years, as a parent, teacher and administrator. I am truly blessed to be a part of this wonderful school ministry.
Since 1980, I have been a Christian School Educator, and my education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development from the University of La Verne in La Verne, California, an Associate of Science Degree in Child Development from College of the Canyons in Valencia, California, a teaching certificate in Child Development from Mission College in Sylmar, California and a Child Development Program Director Permit from the state of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
It is my desire to provide each child with an environment of acceptance and love in order to achieve his or her full potential to learn and achieve. My career of over 30 years in the field has enabled me to bring the best experiences for young children to Valley Presbyterian Preschool and Infant Center in order to offer a quality Christ-centered Developmental education that fosters the spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, and my favorite Bible verse is Psalm 91. I consider it a privilege to join with you in beginning your child’s educational journey.
Hello! My name is Alice Reynosa and I am the Preschool and Infant Center Office Manager. I have been a part of the ministry at Valley Presbyterian School since 2010. I am married and have two wonderful daughters who have been students here since 2008. My Child Development education was at Vanguard University. What I enjoy most about being office manager is being able to help children, whether it is providing band aids for injuries, distributing the hot lunch, or greeting them as they arrive in the morning. The verse I often reflect on is in Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” I truly feel blessed each and every day to be part of what God is doing in our preschool and infant center.
