Valley Presbyterian Christian School - Health and Safety

Valley Presbyterian School makes the safety of its students and staff a top priority! The school maintains a comprehensive Emergency Plan to ensure the safety of its students, faculty and staff in the event of a disaster such as a fire, an earthquake, or a threat to our campus.

The Plan follows the guidelines on national preparedness efforts recommended by the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Education and encompasses the five mission areas of prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery.

All staff and faculty are trained and certified in CPR and First Aid. Routine fire, earthquake, and lockdown drills are conducted monthly.

We regularly consult with the Air Quality Management District to determine if the air quality is safe for outdoor play. Students are also restricted from outdoor activities when temperatures reach 100 degrees or above.
